Introduce Feature Lease: make editing documents online simple

As PDF is the most popular document format used in business operations, having the right PDF editing tool is a must.

All the most widely used document formats can be easily converted into PDF. Several file formats containing different types of data can be combined into just one glorious PDF. The Portable Document Format is perfect for basic presentations and easy-to-read reports.

Though many online solutions provide PDF editing features, only a few of them allow adding signatures, collaborating with other users etc.

pdfFiller’s editing solution includes features for editing, annotating, converting PDF documents to other formats, adding signatures, and filling out forms. pdfFiller is an online PDF editor available in your browser. You don’t have to install any programs.

Use one of the methods below to upload your document template and start editing:

01
Drag and drop a document from your device.
02
Open the Enter URL tab and insert the link to your sample.
03
Find the form you need in our catalog using the search field.
04
Upload a document from the cloud storage (Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, One Drive and others).
05
Browse the Legal library.

Once a document is uploaded, it’s saved and can be found in the “My Documents” folder.

Use editing features such as typing text, annotating, and highlighting. Change a page order. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to the third-party integration cloud. Collaborate with people to fill out the document and request an attachment. Add and edit visual content. Add fillable fields and send for signing.

Had a problem with being unable to save a document. However Sam on the chat line was very helpful (although we could not recover it) and suggested changing the input from javascript to 'flash'. I have now managed to save it.

overall I like pdffiller, but there are some things I wish I could do, like circle items in word docs. The only circle function I see does not seem to work very well. I would like to be able to draw circles around items more easily. As for signature authentication, is it necessary to include date? It would be easier if the authentication did not include the date. This isn't a big deal, since I can see why the date is necessary... but sometimes I sign a contract on for example, Sept 1st at midnight, but I don't want my clients to know I signed at midnight Sept 1st, particularly if I should have signed the document sooner. Anyway, these are just little issues that I've come across and changes would make my business a bit easier.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
For example, if a person leases premises for the stated purpose of using the building as a place to make illegal drugs, the agreement is void and unenforceable. Also, if the law doesn't consider a person competent to enter into a contract, the lease is void. Leases are also void if they are against public policy.
A lease can be written or verbal, but a verbal lease can be very difficult to enforce. If you decide to write your own lease make sure you include a clause that states if any condition is not legal, that the rest of the lease is still in effect.
The Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations make any clause which is 'unfair' null and void in a court of law. So if a term or condition of the tenancy agreement is giving either party less than their statutory rights, then it can't be enforced, and it won't hold up in a court of law.
State Laws Can Override Lease Provisions. Leases don't always mean what they say. That's because there might be a state law that supersedes what is said in a lease--or in any contract, for that matter. In the same case, with the same lease, if the tenant won, each party would pay their own attorney.
If a person has no lease, he/she may be evicted with proper notice. Landlords may sue for unpaid rent as well as fair compensation for any holdovers' use and occupancy after commencement of proceedings.
The difference between lease and rent is that a lease generally lasts for 12 months while a rental agreement generally lasts for 30 days. That means the landlord can't raise the rent without your written consent or evict you without cause, and you can't stop paying rent or break the lease without consequence.
Is lease and rent the same thing? The terms of the lease cover the entire rental period, and they cannot be changed during that period. Lease agreements also do not automatically renew. Rental agreements, on the other hand, cover renting a property on a month-to-month basis.
The lease is taken when a business doesn't have ample fixed capital, and at the same time wants to use the asset but doesn't want to pay for it. Rent on the other hand is taking property for a monthly fee. Leasing contracts have two parties lessor and lessee.
