IT Glue is the only application that is compatible with both your existing IT Glue installations and the new version of Windows Server (12c). Other new features include new user interface features, including improved data validation, and a streamlined file import tool. File-sharing and backup and restore features are also a new addition with IT Glue 6.4, allowing you to back up and restore your Windows servers to your computer. IT Glue 6.4 comes with a new feature to let you sync the configuration from the current computer on which IT Glue runs to another desktop computer, allowing you to continue using your configuration throughout your upgrade. IT Glue 6.4 is now also compatible with Windows Server 2016; however, the configuration for the upgrade process to Windows Server 2016 is different to that for IT Glue 6.0. You will need to have the latest available deployment of Windows Server 2016 (CURRENT) to upgrade to and use the IT Glue 6.. And, it's all free! This allows you to store large files — such as images and PDFs — on the Internet (on an FTP server, for example) rather than on a local network. For example, if you have a spreadsheet with 10 documents, and you decide to add a new one, each document is uploaded to the all-PDF system, but the entire file system is not — meaning that the entire file is secure.
