The intricacies of weaving through browser and google app to use this plugin are quite noteworthy. I consider it a great achievement that the plugin seems to work, even when it encounters strange circumstances. For all that this is a bit ungainly, there were some things I wished worked a little better, but overall quite good.

I wish there were more typfaces I could use. Also, I couldn't figure out how to italicize titles within the document without it italicizing all around it. I gave up after several attempts. Wish that part were more user friendly.

Minnesota Itemized Deductions. Beginning in tax year 2018, you may claim the Minnesota standard deduction or itemize deductions on your Minnesota income tax return. You may claim itemized deductions on your state return, even if you claimed the standard deduction on your federal income tax return.
Minnesota's standard and itemized deductions are similar but not identical to those allowed federally. In tax year 2019, the Minnesota standard deduction is $24,400 for married taxpayers filing a joint return, $12,200 for single taxpayers, and $18,350 for taxpayers filing as a head of household.
In 2019, the standard deduction will be $12,200 for a single filer and $24,400 for a married couple filing jointly. Additional standard deduction amounts will be allowed for those age 65 or older and/or blind as under prior law. Minnesota will allow a dependent exemption deduction of $4,250 per dependent in 2019.
California Standard Deductions as of 2018 are $4,236 for single filers and married/registered domestic partner filers of separate returns. You can also claim a $1,050 standard deduction for each of your dependents.
Dependents: Your standard deduction may be reduced if you are claimed as a dependent on another person's tax return. If you were another person's dependent during a Tax Year, your standard deduction will generally be limited to the greatest of $1,100 or your earned income plus $350.
Minnesota allows a property tax credit to renters and homeowners who were residents or part-year residents of Minnesota during the tax year. Who can claim the credit? Homeowners with household income of $115,020 or less can claim a refund up to $2,820.
Your total household income (including a subtraction for dependents or if you are age 65 or older) for 2019 must be less than $62,340. The maximum refund is $2,190. You must have lived in a building in which property taxes were assessed, or you made payments to a local government instead of property taxes.
Federal Law on Vehicle Tax Deductions It won't come into play when you file your Minnesota state taxes. You also can deduct only the tax portion, not the filing fee, license plate cost or wheel tax. The IRS also requires Minnesota residents to deduct $35 from the amount of tax they're claiming.
