The only reason my rating isn't a perfect 5 Stars is regarding getting an a document notarized online. Your website says it will be at no cost. But when linked to the vendor notary person, she said the cost is $25. When I contacted your company a couple of times, it was indicated someone would get back to me w/ answer. Certainly mention your educational qualifications if they are relevant, but focus the bulk of your cover letter on experiences. Even if your most relevant experience is education, present it more in the form of projects you worked on and job-related skills you gained, rather than actually explaining course content.
Step 1: Use the top of the cover letter for company details. Step 2: Introduce yourself with a strong first paragraph. Step 3: Be specific about your accomplishments. Step 4: Show that you've done research on the company.
Your cover letter is not your autobiography. The focus should be on how you meet an employer's needs, not on your life story. Avoid the perception of being self-centered by minimizing your use of the word “I,” especially at the beginning of your sentences.
