Very Quick, saves me a lot of time. I regularly get pdf's that need to be completed and sent back. Now I can upload, fill out and return in a fraction of the time. Since the data is typed, I never get a question about what I wrote.

History of electronic signature law in the United States The DESIGN Act is a federal law passed in 2000. It grants legal recognition to electronic signatures and records if all parties to a contract choose to use electronic documents and to sign them electronically.
Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce (DESIGN) Act. ... For an electronic signature to be legally binding under the DESIGN Act, it is recommended that all electronic signature workflows include: Intent to sign. Similar to ink signatures, a signer must show clear intent to sign an agreement electronically.
An electronic signature can be anything that constitutes an online mark, like a symbol or an image of your signature. Electronic signatures don't have the security of a digital signature, as they don't create a hash of a document, or tie the signature to the document itself.
