Meaning, the directions I would have found easier to follow would be in steps...step 1, then step two, etc. In other words, the program was really user friendly to first time user. How do you add a certificate to a PDF?

Open the PDF containing the signature. Open the Signatures panel, and select the signature. On the Options menu, click Show Signature Properties, and then click Show Signer's Certificate.

How do you certify a PDF?

On the Protect tab, in the Certify Document group, click Certify. On the Certify Profile Wizard, choose the actions you want to permit from the Permitted actions list. Click Next. Select a digital ID to certify with, and choose whether to make the certificate visible. Click Next.

How do I insert a digital signature into a PDF?

Click on “My digital Ids” under the “Security” Tab. Click on Import, and locate the digital signature you wish to import. Now you can use this signature when signing or certifying your PDF files.
