PDFfiller Review I love that I can pull up any pdf form and fill in the blanks. I do a lot of work with the postal forms and this has been so helpful with keeping the information. I wish you could just double click on a form and open the file, but nothing other than that

How do you read a Log MAR chart?

Each letter has a score value of 0.02 log units. Since there are 5 letters per line, the total score for a line on the Log MAR chart represents a change of 0.1 log units. The formula used in calculating the score is: Log MAR VA = 0.1 + Log MAR value of the best line read 0.02 X (number of prototypes read)

How do you calculate Log MAR?

The log MAR VA can be calculated as 0.1 (8) + (2) (0.02) = 0.84 log MAR. The formula: log MAR score (0.1 NL + 0.02 NL) where NL = number of lines completely read and NL = number of additional letters read AP- plies. For this method, the higher the log MAR VA score, the better the visual acuity.

What do the numbers on the Snellen chart mean?
