It has worked fairly well so far. I would like to be able to change, or add to the saved names of the files that I make instead of the generic names PDFfiller gives them. If that is possible, I can't see how.

An open number line reinforces the idea that the answer to a subtraction problem is the difference between two numbers. It supports using the inverse relationship between addition and subtraction by counting up instead of back. It engages students in decomposing numbers and reasoning.
A number line can also be used to represent both positive and negative integers as well. Writing numbers on a number line makes comparing numbers easier. A number line can also be used to carry out addition, subtraction and multiplication. We always move right to add, move left to subtract and skip count to multiply.
That's a math buzz word you hear a lot these days, but what exactly is an open number line? Well, it's a number line with no numbers or tick marks. Open number lines are great models for working with place value or, in the case below, addition.
Much like a ruler, a number line is a linear scale that's divided into equal parts. Number lines are great tools because both whole numbers and fractions live on them. However, students often don't think of fractions as numbers, making it challenging for them to understand.
