Works well, but not sure why you create a page that cannot be scanned and sent to the IRS on the first part of the form. If this is not legal or usable why have it?

Click on the Drawing Tools menu and select Rectangle. Draw a rectangle the size of the area you want to fill. Right-click on the rectangle you just drew and choose Properties. On the Appearance tab, set the Style to No Border and the Fill Color to your desired shade.
Highlight your PDF Left-click the mouse, hold it, and move around the page to highlight the area or text. Release the mouse button once the area or text is selected. Once the PDF is highlighted, you have the option of adding a description to each annotation, which you can do from the left vertical panel.
Select the Underline Text tool by selecting ToolsComment & Markup ToolsUnderline Text. Drag over the text that you want underlined. The text is now underlined.
Drag the left slider to the beginning of the text you want to highlight. This highlights the text to the left of the word you originally pressed. Drag the right slider to the end of the text you want to highlight. The entire selection should now be highlighted.
Click on the cursor tool in your toolbar, then highlight the text you'd like to edit. Right-click on the highlighted copy, and you'll be given a series of options including “Highlight Text,” “Replace Text” and “Add Note to Text.”
To highlight text in PDF online, simply hit the highlight icon located along with the other editing tools. When you're done, you can save the changes that you made by clicking the Save icon. After the file is processed, you can download the file by clicking the Download button provided.
