on the form 710 you cannot remove the zeros on page 2. Please correct ... I use this form a lot and it would be nice to have fillable spots vs lining up the curser.

It's probably just me but it's hard to figure out what does what.Also trying to figure out what I can move on a PDF and what I have to erase and fill-in again. Otherwise I think it's one of the best. I should also say seems be working with my Dragon NaturallySpeaking

Generally there is no charge for basic military personnel and medical record information provided to veterans, next of kin and authorized representatives from Federal (non-archival) records. Some companies advertise DD Form 214 research services and will charge a fee for obtaining copies.
How can I search the military records? The National Archives holds Federal military service records in two repositories: The National Archives Building in Washington, D.C., for Revolutionary War — 1912. National Military Personnel Records Center (PRC), in St. Louis, Missouri, for WWI — present.
Military personnel records are open to the public 62 years after they leave the military. ... Records of any veteran who separated from the military 62 (or more) years ago can be ordered by anyone for a copying fee (detailed below under cost). To obtain a soldier's official records, submit Standard Form 180 to the National Personnel Records Center. Terms of discharge from the military, including dishonorable discharge, are outlined in enlisted soldiers' or warrant officers' military service personnel records.

All this information is in the National Archives records. However, you can't simply ask the government to provide military records. Discharge papers post-1957 aren't available to anyone, except the veteran and his close family members.
