I have been having trouble finding forms, and then getting the fill-in fields to work. While I like the end product I'm frustrated that it is not more user friendly.

What do you like best?
I really like how I can fill out any form and it will turn it into a pdf. I also like how I can sign any form with my signature.
What do you dislike?
I do not really enjoy filling out forms that do not provide just a box to type in, rather it is little individual boxes for every letter. When the form is this way. I have to insert a new text box for every letter so that the letters would fall in their own little box and doesn't look out of place. These are the forms that are difficult to fill out. Unless there is a setting I haven't figured out yet.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I am currently a law school student. There are a lot of forms I have had to fill out and PDFfiller makes this so much easier because I can just send them electronically to those who are alright with receiving them electronically.

Speedy and excellent customer service I had a trial/billing issue and sent an email to their support email address. It was around midnight when I sent my email so I didn't think I would hear anything back from them until later that day during business hours. Not only did I hear back from them with an email almost immediately that night, but their representative resolved my issue right then and there. Superb customer service!

I like PDF filler for quick fill in of… I like PDF filler for quick fill in of forms. One thing that isn't great is that it won't load certain docs that have had electronic signatures - I know it is to protect that doc but sometimes its a pain.

A Great Time Saving Tool This software is a great time-saving tool in that it allows me to fill in, search, and edit forms and send them electronically within minutes. That way, I don't have to manually hand write information the form, then scan them (or mail them) and wait for recipients to respond. The software basically digitizes the workflow process, which saves me a lot of time. The software is limited to specific industries and the forms and features that these industries use. Therefore, not all forms and features are fully applicable to our company so we can't take advantage of them.

AWESOME SOFTWARE Great software, the only challenge I had was the sign in process. I have had a few accounts as I had challenges signing in and ended up making additional accounts. This could be user error but I am sure others have had this issue also.

You can lock PDF files by utilizing pdfFiller's security features in conjunction with Microsoft tools. Start by uploading your PDF to pdfFiller, then navigate to the 'Security' settings where you can apply password protection. This ensures that only authorized users can access and edit the document. Additionally, consider setting permission levels to restrict editing while still allowing others to view the content. A practical tip is to use strong, unique passwords to fortify document security across your workflows.
To edit a secured PDF file effectively with MSFT applications, first unlock the PDF using pdfFiller. Upload your locked PDF to pdfFiller, remove restrictions using your password, and then proceed to edit the content as required. Once edits are completed, you can save or share the updated document through MSFT platforms like Microsoft Teams. Always ensure you maintain a secure backup of the original file to prevent data loss. Remember that consistency in document format is key for cross-platform compatibility.
When editing PDFs across various MSFT applications, it’s essential to implement strong security protocols. Utilize pdfFiller to apply password protection and encryption to your documents before sharing them in Teams or OneDrive. This way, even if a file is intercepted, unauthorized users cannot access it. Regularly update your passwords and consider using two-factor authentication for additional security. Make it a habit to review access logs to monitor who has modified the document.
Yes, you can collaborate on a locked PDF without compromising security by using pdfFiller's collaboration tools. Start by locking your PDF with a password and only share the password with specific team members who need access. Utilize commenting features and revision histories to facilitate discussions without altering the original document. After collaboration, you can save a new version while the original remains intact, ensuring document integrity. This method is particularly effective for legal teams needing secure communication.
The best practice for automating PDF editing in MSFT environments involves integrating pdfFiller with your existing MSFT tools like Power Automate. Create automated workflows to manage repetitive tasks such as filing, signing, or locking PDFs. For example, you can set a routine where PDFs submitted through forms are automatically locked and sent for review within Teams. This not only saves time but also enhances document security and compliance with data regulations. A valuable tip is to regularly update your automation iterations based on team feedback to improve workflows.
To ensure compliance when locking and editing PDFs within MSFT, utilize pdfFiller's compliance features to adhere to regulations like GDPR or HIPAA. When you lock a PDF, clearly set permissions for what users can do. It’s crucial to maintain proper audit trails for any edits made. Combining pdfFiller's tracking capabilities with MSFT tools allows you to keep detailed records of who accessed or modified documents. A good practice is to conduct periodic compliance audits to align with legal standards and industry regulations.
