Once the PDF file opens in Documents app, tap on the Menu button (three dots) in the top right corner to bring up menu at the lower section of your iPhone screen. Choose Set Password. Then type in the same password twice. Finally, hit the Set button to confirm and encrypt your PDF file on iPhone or iPad.
Run the file manager app on your iPhone or iPad. Tap Settings at the bottom, select Enable Password, you will then be able to set a password to protect any sensitive data on the phone.
One-click option to protect a PDF with a password Choose File > Protect Using Password. Alternatively, you can choose Tools > Protect > Protect Using Password. Select if you want to set the password for Viewing or Editing the PDF. Type and retype your password.
In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF that you want to password-protect. Choose File > Export, then select Encrypt. You can also enter a new name for the PDF if you want to create a pass worded copy and keep the original PDF unencrypted. Type a password, then retype it to verify the password.
Start by downloading the app from Google Play. Next, open it > password protection > import the PDF from your device memory. If you don't see any directory, clear the app data and try again. Now, you'll see two password option owner password and user passwords.
The “Permissions” setting controls restrictions that can be placed on the PDF file. To prevent printing of a PDF file, uncheck the “Allow the document to be printed” option. You must always enter a master password when security options are enabled or when a user password is set.
