I absolutely LOVE this program. However, I hate the pop-ups with the NEXT button. This isn't a feature that I need, and is very annoying. Please add an option to turn off this feature.

Locate your Workflow: > Issues > Workflows. Click Edit under Actions for your workflow. Select you the Done transition and Click Edit. Select the Resolve Issue Screen for the Screen field. By Default, JIRA comes with a 'Resolve Issue Screen'
Select the Jira icon (,, , or) > Jira settings > Issues. Under ISSUE ATTRIBUTES, select Resolutions. Fill in the form below the existing resolutions. You can edit the name and description at any time. Don't name resolutions “Unresolved” or “None”: ... Click Add.
Jira considers that the lifecycle of an issue has come to an end when the “Resolution” field has a value. Any issue that has the Resolution field set is treated by Jira applications as “resolved”. The Issue Navigator displays “Unresolved” when no resolution is set for an issue.
Go to the Issues section of the administration panel and click on “Screens”. Create a new screen called “Resolution Screen”. Add to it the fields you want (including resolution). This new screen will be placed on the transitions going into the status “Closed”.
To update the existing project workflow: Choose the Jira icon (or) > Projects. From your project's sidebar, select Project settings > Workflows. Click the edit pencil to the right of the workflow.
Log in as a user with JIRA Administrators permission. Go to Statuses page by choosing Cog Icon > Issues > Find Statuses under Issue Attributes category at the left. Click at Add Status then specify the name, description and the category for the status you want to add.
Hi Seth, You'll need to fill in the Resolution field to mark an issue a Resolved in JIRA. The resolution field is normally found on the default screen you are using to create an issue or to edit an issue. If you want to add extra steps to your workflow then this is possible using the Workflow editor.
Select the Jira icon (,, , or) > Jira settings > Issues. Under ISSUE ATTRIBUTES, select Resolutions. Fill in the form below the existing resolutions. You can edit the name and description at any time. Don't name resolutions “Unresolved” or “None”: ... Click Add.
Resolved is intended to be used when someone thinks an issue is done, but someone should review it to make sure it's really done. In the Jira Default Workflow the Closed status is also configured to prevent future edits to issues in the Closed status.
Hi David, they're subject to your own definitions, but generally “resolved” means a developer has fixed the reported problem and “closed” means that a resolved issue has been confirmed as fixed by the reporter or a QA team.
