This statement is still true (I am still using the trial version, so I haven't had enough time using it yet). I am also new to my position; therefore, it will take time, before I know of the various ways that I could utilize this software. It's cheaper than Adobe. It gets the job done and has many options for filling out PDFs. I use it mostly for the Army National Guard and now as a substitute teacher.
