I have found this PDFFilter writer and downloader to be exceptionally useful and user-friendly. It organizes my files clearly, making navigation simple and efficient. It's great. Noticed some glitches on the forms, e.g. the text-in-th middle selection populates horizontally instead of vertically, making it impossible to see all that has been typed without scrolling across.

How do you footnote a PDF?
For e-books, use this format: Author's name (first then last), Title of Book (Place of publication: Publisher, Year of publication), page number, web address. For journal articles in PDF files, you do not need to indicate the file type for footnotes.
How do you add footnotes?
Place your cursor at the point you want to add a footnote. Choose Insert | Footnote, or press Ctrl-Alt-F. Type your footnote text.
How do you paginate a document?
On the Insert tab, in the “Header & Footer” group, click Page Number. Click Top of Page, Bottom of Page, or Page Margins, depending on where you want page numbers to appear in your document. Choose a page numbering design from the gallery of designs.
What is the proper format for a footnote?
Each footnote should appear at the bottom of the page that includes its numbered in-text reference. For note numbers in the text, use superscript. Indent the first line of each note half an inch like a paragraph in the main text. Use a short line (or rule) to separate footnotes from the main text.
