Merge and split cells to create unusual tables. Select the cells you want to merge or split, go to the (Table Tools) Layout tab, and follow these instructions to merge or split cells: Merging cells: Click the Merge Cells button (you can also right-click and choose To merge Cells).
Select the field, such as Amount, as shown in this example. Press [Alt] + F9 to reveal the field coding. Edit the field by simply inserting a numeric switch code to the end of the field. Press [Alt] + F9 again.
Click the second instance of double click to insert field, press DELETE, and then type the number of days that you want to add to the current date. For example, if you wanted to add 30 days to today's date, you would type 30.
In cell A1, type 2/8/13. In cell B1, type =A1-15. In cell C1, type =A1+30. In cell D1, type =C1-15.
The age, which is the time span between one date and another, is calculated as x years, independent of the number of days of a year. If there is a leap day between the current year and the year before, one day more is counted. Example: From May 1.
To calculate age manually is a fairly simple arithmetic procedure. The process of calculating age involves comparing one's birth year with the year in which age needs to be calculated. First, the current ongoing year is taken note of. After that, the year of birth is considered.
