Access the First Page Header in Section 1 and then click on Next in the Navigation section of the Header & Footer Tools>Design tab of the ribbon and then click on the Link to Previous button to unlink that Header from that in the previous section.
Change or delete the header or footer from the first page Go to Insert > Header & Footer. On the right side of the white area at the top of the document, select Options > Different First Page. Content of the header or footer on the first page is removed. Type your content into the header or footer on the first page.
Launch Word and open the file that you want to merge into another file. Right-click anywhere in the highlighted area and choose Copy. If you happen to click off the highlight before you copy, repeat the “Select All” process. Open the second Word file.
Right click in the Word document where you want to paste your text. On the menu under Paste Options, choose the third option, Keep Text Only. The icon is a clipboard with an A on it.
Make a copy of the document you want first and open that. Go to the end of the document and insert a next-page section break. With your cursor on that new page, format the page numbers to restart at 1 and unlink the headers and footers from previous.
