Being able to use pdffiller has been a lifesaver in so many ways: neatness, conversion of files, time saver, etc. I am a high school English teacher, and I also raise miniature Australian shepherds and quarter horses; with pdffiller, filling out forms online and being able to save them and/or fax them has saved me time, given a more professional look to my papers, and actually improved my productivity in different areas of my work.

Helpful Tool I had been trying to send off some release forms and was crunched for time so I signed up for PDFFiller's free trial. In the end, I wasn't able to use their software without a purchase, but it made me almost wish I had paid the money. I like that I can sign any document electronically. It definitely saves time and printing costs. It cuts out about 2 extra steps: printing and scanning. This is helpful for documents that need signatures such as release forms, etc. I didn't like how much I had to pay in order to use my e-signed pdf. I don't use the software often enough to make it worth the price. However, if I worked regularly with documents that needed to be signed this software would be the very best solution.

Power Up. Drink Some Coffee. Walk in With Confidence. Start With Questions. Show What You Can Do. Focus on the Future, Not the Past. Think About the Other Person. Try Thinking About Someone Else.

Know Your Value and the Industry Rate for Your Position. Don't Rush It. Don't Forget Non-Salary Benefits. Don't Push Too Much. Don't Say Too Much. Know What's Really Important to You
DO familiarize yourself with industry salary trends. DON'T fail to build your case. DON'T stretch the truth. DO factor in non-salary benefits. DON'T wing it. DO know when to wrap it up. DON'T forget to get everything in writing. DON'T make it only about you.
Be polite but direct in asking about the starting salary. Show enthusiasm for the position. If the company has asked whether you're interested in the job, you should thank them for their message, state that the position does sound interesting, and then write “May I ask what the salary range is?”
Know your budget. Understand why the offer is what it is. Consider the whole offer. Know how location is affecting your salary offer. Negotiate at the right time. Practice your salary pitch. Become a better employee.
You just got your first job offer. But negotiating your salary is extremely important, especially in your first job. Your starting salary serves as an anchor throughout your career, with raises, bonuses, and even retirement savings influenced by that initial amount. Starting too low could be a costly mistake.
Do your research. In addition to using sites like PayScale and Salary.com, Cohen and Streaks say recent graduates should use their friends, mentors and colleagues as resources for determining their pay. Look beyond salary. Don't undervalue your experiences. Don't make it personal.
