I did not know there was a charge for using this until I got to the very end. I had spent too much time filling out the form to end and start over. I want to cancel at the end of one month.

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
If the number of running hours or days spent loading or discharging the cargo, after the Notice of Readiness is properly given, varies from the contractually agreed amount of time, then the daytime is paid by the charterer as demurrage or the shipowner as despatch, at the hourly or daily rate specified in the voyage
The purpose of daytime calculations is to determine whether on completion of loading or discharge operations despatch is payable to the charterers or demurrage is due to the owners. Daytime calculations are recorded on a daytime statement.
'daytime' refers to the time allowed in a voyage charter for cargo to be loaded on to or unloaded from a vessel. And. 'Demurrage' is incurred after the permitted daytime is spent.
Paydays should not be confused with daytime, which is the period allowed to the charterers for loading and/or discharging without payment additional to the freight. Together, paydays/cancelling or, as it is often called, the layman is the period within which the vessel must be presented at the agreed port or place.
Layman or L/C — Paydays Canceling — Period during which the shipowner must tender notice of readiness to the charterer that the ship has arrived at the pod of loading and is ready to load, This period is expressed as two dates, for example paydays 25 March canceling 2 April or, when abbreviated as layman, layman 25
Calculation of Demurrage. In the calculation of demurrage amount payable to shipowner, demurrage rate is multiplied by the number of days or part of day in excess of the agreed daytime. For example: Total Daytime Allowed 11 days.
The system calculates the demurrage fee based on the potential or actual daytime, the contractually allowed daytime, and the demurrage fee maintained in the freight contract. The system uses the formula: Demurrage costs = net demurrage time X net demurrage rate X demurrage factor.
In business, demurrage is a delay in delivery of a product via delivery truck. The demurrage charge is normally an hourly rate. Unforeseeable until delivery, costs of delays are sometimes separately invoiced from the cost of deliverable.
