Watermarks are in the graphics layer and usually attached to the header/footer. It is not possible to copy both the main text and the watermark in the same process. You can only copy one layer at a time.
Open the source document you will copy watermark from, and double-click the header or footer area to activate the header and footer sections. 2. Now the watermark image or watermark text can be selected. Right-click the watermark image/text, and select Copy from the context menu.
Watermarks A watermark is an identifying image or pattern in paper that appears as various shades of lightness/darkness. For example, having each page in a document with a 'Do not copy' watermark communicates to your readers that the document is not ready for distribution. You can also make custom watermarks, specific for your use.
On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list. Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation. Select OK.
Click on Page Layout tab. In the ribbon, click on Watermark. A vertical scroll list of six watermarks will appear with a set of menu options below. From the menu options, select Custom Watermark.
Go to the Page Layout tab. Click the Watermark button in the Page Background group. Select Custom Watermark (at the bottom of the shortcut menu). Select the Text watermark option. Change the Text field to DRAFT. Click OK.
