How do I do an open house for a rental property?

Do rentals have open houses?
A rental open house is an event where a landlord or property manager is on-site and interested renters can stop by and see the rental. Whether you have a house, apartment, condo or multi-unit residence, open houses are great for showing rental property to prospective tenants.
How many open houses can a landlord do?
The owner is entitled to hold two Open Houses per month. The listing agent is required to be present during such Open Houses. The tenant is allowed to be present during the Open Houses (in order that the tenant could safeguard his own possessions). And.
Can you have an open house with renters?
An open house can only be held if the tenant agrees in writing. Some tenants may agree to an open house to avoid multiple individual entries. Photos used to market the property (e.g. on the 'for sale/rent' signs or the internet) should not show the tenant's possession unless they agree in writing.
Do tenants have to leave during an open house?
A: The simple answer is an absolute no, you don't have to leave the house when the Realtor shows the property. In fact, it's best for the landlord and the Realtor if you are there. Prior to each showing the landlord or Realtor must give you at least 24 hours' notice, which includes a reasonable time during the day.

Landlord's Right to Enter You can't stop the landlord from showing the unit, but you may get her to schedule times that work better for you. While the landlord has the right to show to one person at a time or during an open house, you can choose to remain in the property if you like.
