the experience was mostly good, however, when coming from a google doc and putting the document here to convert into a pdf, the drop down tabs that were originally in the google doc did not work- in that way, it was tedious.

How do you unlock a spreadsheet?
On the Review tab, click Protect Sheet (in the Changes group). Click the Protect Sheet button to Protect Sheet when a worksheet is protected. If prompted, enter the password to protect the worksheet.
Can you restrict access to a worksheet in Excel?
Actually, you can restrict access to a certain worksheet with setting the worksheet as very hidden status. 1. Open the workbook and shift to the worksheet you will restrict access to, then right-click the sheet tab and select View Code from the right-clicking menu.
