Your car battery is an item that may not be covered. Usually, the battery is covered by a manufacturer's warranty but not a used-car or dealer warranty. However, new replacement batteries have a manufacturer's warranty batteries from the NRA, for example, come with a three-year warranty.

Extended Tesla warranty costs range from $$2,1004,800 if purchased within 180 days of purchasing your Tesla. The cost range increases to $$2,6005,300 if you wait longer. Depending on your contract, there may be a $200 deductible per claim, according to Green Car Reports.
Every new Tesla comes with a New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which is essentially bumper-to-bumper coverage that covers the repair or replacement necessary to correct defects in the materials or workmanship of any parts manufactured or supplied by Tesla that occur under normal use.
