Add text to a plot in R software. To add a text to a plot in R, the text() and text() R functions can be used.
Change main title and axis labels. Title colors. The font style for the text of the titles. Change the font size. Use the title() function. Customize the titles using par() function.
Add Text to Multiple Data Points. View MATLAB Command. Plot a line. Display Multiline Text. View MATLAB Command. Create a line plot and add one text description to the axes. Specify Text Size and Color. View MATLAB Command. Modify Existing Text. View MATLAB Command.
Use the annotation function to add annotations to a chart. The first input to the function specifies the type of annotation you want to create. If you specify the type as 'line', 'arrow', 'double arrow', or 'text arrow', then the second input is the starting and ending x positions of the annotation.
Define x, by specifying the range of values for the variable x, for which the function is to be plotted. Define the function, y = f(x) Call the plot command, as plot(x, y)
Accepted Answer To get curved arrows like you showed, you'd have to create the curving/swooping lines and then use plot() to plot them. Then you'd have to set “hold on” and call annotation to put a small arrow on top of the curving line you drew with plot().
Right-click on the layer 1 icon in the upper-left hand corner of the graph and choose Plot Setup. Select Layer 1 in the Plot List. Select Trial Run 2 from the Available Data list (the top-most of the three panels). Select Time as X and Position as Y. Click Add.
