I begrudgingly brought the product thinking it was too expensive and the online terms were confusing. However, after using it, I love it! I actually use it frequently now and don't know how I got along without it. Great product!

Don't quite understand how it works as I am not a computer person except to do genealogy, and write. One cannot operate a computer without it. At least this is what I'm finding out. It all seems automatic, I would like to know more about it's function, Why's and what-fores, instead of just logging on and it appears. All I know is that it is a major function for downloading photographs and some documents. There should be a tutorial offered to those who are senior citizens and so many things are automatic. It takes understanding its function to a non-software-computer person. Guess more instruction would help.

Push 3 onto the stack. Push 5 onto the stack. ... Apply the + operation: take the top two numbers off the stack, add them together, and put the result back on the stack. ... Push 7 onto the stack. Push 2 onto the stack.
Reverse Polish notation (otherwise known as post-fix, RPN for short) is a way of representing mathematical equations. The notation is used because the format that the equation is in is easier for machines to interpret rather than the notation we are used to, infix notation, where the operator is in between the numbers.
Reverse Polish notation (RPN) is a method for conveying mathematical expressions without the use of separators such as brackets and parentheses. ... This notation is suited for computers and calculators since there are fewer characters to track and fewer operations to execute.
Polish notation is a notation form for expressing arithmetic, logic and algebraic equations. Its most basic distinguishing feature is that operators are placed on the left of their operands. If the operator has a defined fixed number of operands, the syntax does not require brackets or parenthesis to lessen ambiguity.
Benefits: RPN saves time and keystrokes. You avoid using and keeping track of parentheses while doing calculations. The process is similar to the way you learned math on paper. You can see the intermediary results as you perform your computations rather than just the answer at the end.
Step 1: The Stack. ... Step 2: Deleting Data. ... Step 3: Swapping. ... Step 4: Addition. ... Step 5: Subtraction. ... Step 6: Multiplication. ... Step 7: Division.
Push 5 into the stack. ... Push 1 into the stack. ... Apply the subtraction operation by taking two operands from the stack (1 and 5). ... Push 3 into the stack. ... Apply the multiplication operation by taking the last two numbers off the stack and multiplying them.
Most calculators are designed to recognize basic operations the same way they are written. Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) is a faster method of inputting equations. It can also help with performing complex operations on a calculator. ... A more common calculator would use 3, +, 4, ENTER (or the equal sign).
For example, in RPN the expression 2+3×4 would be written 2, 3, 4×,+ and it can be evaluated simply by scanning from left to right and pushing values on the stack. Each time you hit an operator you pop the top two items from the stack, apply the operator and push the result back on the stack.
The benefits of understanding RPN stack operations RPN stands for Reverse Polish Notation. Anytime the simplest operation is performed in the HP 12c, many of these RPN resources are used.
