The CSS used for setting the position to fixed looks like this: position: fixed. An element with position: fixed. Is positioned relative to the viewport, which means it always remain in the same place even if the page is scrolled. The top, right, bottom, and left properties are used to position the element.
left : text lines are rendered flush left. Center : text lines are centered. Right : text lines are rendered flush right. Justify : text lines are justified to both margins.
left The default value. Right Content aligns along the right side. Center Content centers between the left and right edges. Justify Content spaces out such that as many blocks fit onto one line as possible and the first word on that line is along the left edge and the last word is along the right edge.
The position property specifies the type of positioning method used for an element (static, relative, absolute, fixed, or sticky). Default value: static. Inherited: no.
An element with position: fixed. Is positioned relative to the viewport, which means it always stays in the same place even if the page is scrolled. The top, right, bottom, and left properties are used to position the element. A fixed element does not leave a gap in the page where it would normally have been located.
Absolute Positioning You can use two values top and left along with the position property to move an HTML element anywhere in the HTML document. Move Left — Use a negative value for left. Move Right — Use a positive value for left. Move Up — Use a negative value for top.
In position: relative, the element is positioned relative to itself. However, an absolutely positioned element is relative to its parent. An element with position: absolute is removed from the normal document flow. It is positioned automatically to the starting point (top-left corner) of its parent element.
