I was sort of afraid to install and pay for this online. There is so much identity theft out there.. I was just a victim of fraud on my bank account. But this seem pretty secure and was easy to get going.

What do you like best?
The ability to edit practically any document, within reason. As a Finance professional, it's much easier to add a JPEG of a signature to hundred of checks rather than signing them by hand. My carpal-tunnel free wrists thank you!
What do you dislike?
I don't have any negative comments; everything that the program promises, it delivers.

In most states (there are exceptions and lots of details and restrictions), to get approved as a Cottage Food Kitchen, the following is typically required. ... some form of kitchen inspection, a zoning clearance/permit from a local zoning department, department of agriculture or department of health. A business license.
While Cottage Food laws allow a person to legally bake and prepare certain foods in their home kitchens and sell them on a small scale, (typically at farmers markets and direct to other consumers), very few states allow them to sell to restaurants and grocery stores.
While Cottage Food laws allow a person to legally bake and prepare certain foods in their home kitchens and sell them on a small scale, (typically at farmers markets and direct to other consumers), very few states allow them to sell to restaurants and grocery stores.
Prohibited Foods and Labeling People who manufacture food at home can only sell low-risk foods such as coffee and tea blends, dry foods such as granola, chips and popcorn, baked goods such as breads, cookies and some cakes, and jams and preserves. Many food items fall within the acceptable parameters.
Choose Your Niche. Decide what kind of food you want to sell and how. ... Conduct Market Research. ... Prepare a Business Plan. ... Licenses and Permits. ... Purchase Your Equipment. ... Promote Your Business.
Items you will need State laws may require that you carry a special permit, or complete a separate licensing application, if you sell potentially hazardous food, such as dishes containing meat or dairy. Contact your local health department to get a list of local health and safety codes.
The Broad Strokes. Most cottage food laws have a few points in common. For one thing, you won't be able to sell your food product through retail stores or restaurants. You're typically limited to direct selling, either from your home, a farmers market or a nonprofit venue such as a church sale or community fundraiser.
Selling Homemade Food Online. ... Laws are now in place in many states for CFOs (cottage food operations). Selling homemade food online can happen more successfully if you create it in a legal, safe environment and package, market, and distribute carefully.
Food vendors need a license for themselves, on which there is no limit. They also need to sell from a pushcart with a Department of Health permit, which are limited at about 3,000 city-wide. ... Many food vendors who do not have their own permits enter into relationships with permit holders to use their permits, for a fee.
A business license is required to start a business, including one selling prepackaged food. Additional licenses and permits related to food may be required as well. Your jurisdiction may have zoning rules and regulations that affect a home-based business storing and packaging food.
