For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
The "Permissions" setting controls restrictions that can be placed on the PDF file. To prevent printing of a PDF file, uncheck the "Allow the document to be printed" option. You must always enter a master password when security options are enabled or when a user password is set.
Open a file in Acrobat and choose Tools > Protect. Select whether you want to restrict editing with a password or encrypt the file with a certificate or password. Set password or security method as desired. Click OK and then click Save.
Open the Organize Pages tool from the top menu or the right pane (Tools > Organize Pages) Select one or more page thumbnails (page numbers are underneath). Use Shift to select a page range. Do one of the following: Drag and drop pages to reorder PDF pages how you want. Save your file.
Open the PDF in Acrobat. Choose the Organize Pages tool from the right pane. Select a page thumbnail you want to delete and click the Delete icon to delete the page. A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
For Acrobat 7 Professional: Open the copy and choose Advanced > PDF Optimizer. Click the Clean Up tab. Select Remove Hidden Layers Content and Flatten Layers, and then click OK.
Go to Edit-Preferences and in the Documents section see if PDF/A View Mode is set to Always. Change it to Never, then try to delete pages. I remember reading in other threads that if you close the PDF then reopen it, you may then be able to delete the pages.
Open the PDF in Acrobat. Choose the Organize Pages tool from the right pane. The Organize Pages toolset is displayed in the secondary toolbar, and the page thumbnails are displayed in the Document area. Select a page thumbnail you want to delete and click the Delete icon to delete the page.
