I like the form I'm using but the program is difficult to make several additional forms of that particular one. I'm doing it by erasing and refilling. Not sure if that is correct but I guess it is working.

So surprised and happy to find this VA application online and available to convert to a filler style form. Printing the document by-hand was painful and re-dos were tedious but with your program I was able to complete and annotate (where needed) the application in a legible, presentable manner. Very professional and good customer support

How can I get a copy of my apartment lease?
Go To Your Landlord or Management Company Provide a copy of the rental agreement or lease to the tenant within 15 days of its execution by the tenant. Once each calendar year thereafter, upon request by the tenant, the owner or owner's agent shall provide an additional copy to the tenant within 15 days.
Can a landlord refuse to give you a copy of the lease?
In general, your landlord is not legally required to provide you a copy of the lease. In other words, when someone asks a landlord for a copy of the lease, either it's an attempt to break the lease, or it's an attempt to avoid a rules' enforcement.
Does a landlord have to give you a copy of the lease?
Not only is the person or company you signed the lease with the most likely to have a copy for themselves, many states legally require landlords to provide tenants a copy of the lease. Provide a copy of the rental agreement or lease to the tenant within 15 days of its execution by the tenant.
How can I get my landlord in trouble?
You should get your deposit back unless there's a problem. Get it in writing if you can. Get them to fix what's wrong. Take pictures of the problem, and write a letter. Yes, they have the keys, but they should still call first. First, talk to your landlord. They should let you know. Ask for things in writing.
What happens if you never signed a lease?

Is a copy of a lease valid?
It is a good idea to copies of lease agreements for past tenants, at least until any statute of limitations expire on the tenancy. Depending on the management agreement and any local laws, a property manager may or may not give a copy of the lease agreement to a property owner.
Can I ask my landlord for a copy of my lease?
If you cannot locate your original tenancy lease, simply ask your landlord or rental management agency to send you a copy for your records. Once each calendar year, at your request, your landlord or rental agency must provide you with a copy of your lease within 15 days of the request under California Civil Code 1962.
