If you don't want to waste your ink and paper printing an entire page just print what you select. Highlight the text and / or images you want to print. Now in your browser go to File > Print or simply use the Ctrl + P keyboard combination. The Print screen comes up.
Click the “File” tab, and then click “Options”. Click “Display.” Clear the “Show Lighter Marks” in the “Page Display Options” section. Click OK.
Select the text you want to highlight. In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top. In the Font section, click. Next to Text Background, click either the color well on the left or the color wheel on the right and choose a color. Click anywhere in the document to close the controls and apply the color.
Select the Clear Formatting Option There are lots of ways that users can format text in MS Word. As such, try removing the highlighting by selecting the text and clicking the Clear Formatting option on the Home tab. Users can also select the text and press Ctrl + Space to remove its formatting.
On the worksheet, select the cells that you want to define as the print area. Tip: To set multiple print areas, hold down the Ctrl key and click the areas you want to print. Each print area prints on its own page. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Print Area, and then click Set Print Area.
Click the sheet. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Page Setup. Under Print Titles, click in Rows to repeat at top or Columns to repeat at left and select the column or row that contains the titles you want to repeat. Click OK. On the File menu, click Print.
On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Print Titles. If the Print Titles ribbon button is grayed out, check to ensure that you're not currently editing a cell or an area chart. Also, check to verify that at least one printer is set up in Windows.
