For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
To calculate age manually is a fairly simple arithmetic procedure. The process of calculating age involves comparing one's birth year with the year in which age needs to be calculated. First, the current ongoing year is taken note of. After that, the year of birth is considered.
To calculate the exact age of a person, you want to calculate the difference between the current date (or any other desired date) and the birthdate. You might think that you could simply take the difference in days between the current date and the birthdate divided by 365: (Current Date Birth Date) / 365.
Calculate age on a specific or future date with formula Select a blank cell for locating the age, then enter formula =DATE DIF(A2,B2,”y”) into the Formula Bar, then press the Enter key. Note: In the formula, A2 contains the person's date of birth, B2 is the specific date or future date. You can change them as you need.
Simply by subtracting the birthdate from the current date. This conventional age formula can also be used in Excel. The first part of the formula (TODAY()-B2) returns the difference between the current date and date of birth is days, and then you divide that number by 365 to get the numbers of years.
Step 1: Open Excel 2013. Step 2: Enter a birthdate into a cell using the format MM/DD/YYY (United States) or DD/MM/YYY if your country uses that date format instead. Step 3: Type =DATE DIF(XX, Today(), Y) into the cell where you want to display the age, then press Enter on your keyboard.
Example of an age difference calculation The result is: The age difference between the two persons is 4 years, 4 months, 12 days. Person 2 is older than Person 1 with 4 years, 4 months, 12 days. Person 1 is 24 years, 9 months, 7 days old, while Person 2 is 20 years, 4 months, 26 days old.
There's actually a fun rule for this, that if the age of the younger person is younger than the older person's age split in half plus seven, then they are too young. Example: 38/2=19+7=26, so if you are not at least 26, you should not be with someone who is 38.
The old rule of determining a socially-acceptable age difference in partners goes something like this: half your age plus seven (40 = 20 +7 = 27) to define the minimum age of a partner and your age minus seven times two (40 = 33 × 2 = 60) to define the maximum age of a partner.
