How can I tell how old my PC is?
To find this on a Windows computer, open the Start menu, then type “casino” into the search bar. Select the “System Information” application, and scroll down to the BIOS Version/Date entry in the window that appears. The date listed can be used to estimate the age of the computer.
How do I find the manufacture date of my computer?
Click “Run” in the start menu, then type “cmd” into the open field to pull up the command prompt. Type “system info” into the command prompt to pull up information about your PC. Finally, refer to the “Original Install Date” to find when your operating system was installed.
What year was my laptop made?
Turn your laptop face down and look for a sticker listing the computer's serial number and other build information. The date of manufacture may be printed on this sticker.
How do you find out what model my Dell laptop is?
You can find the model number of your Dell laptop on the laptop identification label on the bottom of the computer, on the boot screen, in the Windows System Information utility, or by visiting the Dell support website.
How old is this laptop?
For a laptop, the serial number will likely be found on the underside of the chassis. One you've found your system's serial number, simply type it into Google and the manufacturer's website should show up, and they should have information about your computer including an approximate manufacturing date.
How old is my laptop HP?
Click the Start button, type HP Support Assistant in the search field, and then select HP Support Assistant or cmd.exe from the search results list. If the serial number does not display at the bottom of the window, click My computer. The serial number displays under the System information tab.
