Phenomenal Customer Service Due to the pandemic, like a lot of people I was forced to work from home. My employer doesn't adequately support us in this task and so one day as a matter of urgency I started the free pdfFiller trial for a month. So, if the company that's sold you something goes bust before a voucher or gift card can be spent, you can still get a refund. If you've obtained vouchers through a third party, this might also give you some protection, although it's not guaranteed.
At present, expiry dates for gift vouchers can often range from as little as six months up to 24 months. In the retail sector expiry dates for vouchers issued by large retailers are typically two years from either the date of purchase or of last use.
The law requires that most gift cards or vouchers be sold with a mandatory minimum expiry period of three years. The period begins from the date a gift card is sold to a consumer. Businesses can choose to apply an expiry period longer than three years and no maximum expiry period applies.
The Gift Card will automatically expire 24 months after the last time that you use it to make a purchase, or check your balance and any remaining balance will be deducted. Next cannot accept responsibility for your Gift card if it is lost, stolen or damaged.
Expiration and Fees Gift cards can only expire five years after the date the card was purchased or the date money was last loaded onto the card. You should not be charged a fee to replace your card if it expires before the underlying funds expire (less than five years).
A gift voucher cannot have an expiry date less than 5 years from the date it was purchased. You must provide a record of the expiry date to your customers in writing for example on paper or by email. If there is no expiry date then it should be stated.
