Tap on Account. Then tap on Privacy. Next tap on Phone numbers. Select to set your number to Private and tap OK. How to Set Your Phone Number to Private on any iOS Device. Tap on Edit Privacy. Tap on Phone Number. Then tap on Private to set your number to private.
Head into the Phone app. Tap on. Select Settings. Select Supplementary services. Tap on Show caller ID. Select Hide number.
Open the Voice app. At the top left, tap Menu. Settings. Under Calls, turn Anonymous Caller ID On. If you want people to see your phone number when you call them, turn Anonymous Caller ID Off.
Open the Phone app. Open the Menu. Select Settings. Click on Call settings. Click on Additional settings. Click on Caller ID. Choose Hide number and your number will be hidden. Choose Show number or Network default to resume showing your number.
On either your traditional landline or mobile smartphone, dial *67 followed by the number you want to call. When using *67, the person you're calling sees a message such as “blocked” or “private number” when their phone rings. *67 does not work when you call toll-free numbers or emergency numbers including 911.
*67, *82, and *70 are landline codes, and won't work on all GSM cell towers. There is a GSM code for blocking caller ID, or you can toggle it in the settings.
While using *67 works on smartphones, most cellular carriers offer an easier way to block your number through the Android or iOS device settings. To hide your number while using an Android phone: Tap Hide number when the pop-out interface is displayed.
