Not a bad program to work on pdf documents and comes with an online storage box. It does require a monthly subscription fee for the service, but may be more affordable for some if you don't already have the more expensive Adobe Acrobat or other program.

The purpose of presenting your research at a conference is to inform people about your study and get feedback from them to improve your methodology. So, it is okay to develop a previously published conference paper into a full-length manuscript and publish it in a journal later on.
Conference papers are typically published in collections called “proceedings”: sometimes these are printed by university presses, by professional organizations, by big-name publishers, or simply online. Journal papers refer to an article that's published in an issue of the journal.
Conference : A conference is a place where researchers are physically present to discuss and present their research specific to a field. Journal : A journal is a publication that is printed periodically. It is a collection of reviewed papers. Also, journal paper are usually more elaborative than the conference papers.
Most of the researchers publish their research articles in conference because it's a faster way of making the results available. At many places, papers published as conference proceedings are not considered during promotion, on the other hand, at few places it is counted as publications but with fewer credits.
Research is often presented orally with visualization. The papers submitted to a conference are usually reviewed during a specific period and authors receive their acceptance or rejection letters at the same time. Conference papers are usually short and concise with a limit on the number of pages allowed.
Peer-reviewed (refereed or scholarly) journals — Articles are written by experts and are reviewed by several other experts in the field before the article is published in the journal in order to ensure the article's quality. (The article is more likely to be scientifically valid, reach reasonable conclusions, etc.)
No, you cannot submit the same paper to more than one journal at the same time. ... If your paper is rejected, you can submit it to another journal. However, if you want to save time, you can send pre-submission inquiries to several journals at the same time.
However, a conference paper, though usually published in a conference proceedings book or online proceedings' repository, could possibly be published in a journal.
Duplicate publication, multiple publication, or redundant publication refers to publishing the same intellectual material more than once, by the author or publisher. It does not refer to the unauthorized republication by someone else, which constitutes plagiarism, copyright violation, or both.
If an author publishes the same article twice, he or she is guilty not only of the misconduct of duplicate publication, but also of plagiarism; this time, the author has plagiarized himself or herself. Unfortunately, such blatant misconduct is not rare.
