The intricacies of weaving through browser and google app to use this plugin are quite noteworthy. I consider it a great achievement that the plugin seems to work, even when it encounters strange circumstances. For all that this is a bit ungainly, there were some things I wished worked a little better, but overall quite good.

It seems that iCloud Contacts may cause this. Restart your device. Force quit the messages app and open again. Go to Settings > Messages and turn off MMS Messaging (under the SMS/MMS section) and then turn back on. Try to disable Short Name.
Open the Messages app. Press the Menu located in the upper-right corner of the screen. Choose Settings. Tap Add signature to messages to enable text message signatures, then tap Edit signature text.
1) Open Android settings > Applications/notifications > See all X apps > Messages > Force Stop > return to home screen > select Google Messages icon (app will no longer be set to force stop after reopening) > see if Google Contacts name appears on your text.
Step 2: Press or tap the Options button and tap on Settings. Step 4: Now scroll down the available option until you see Hidden number. Step 6: Go back, save the changes, and you won't see mobile number in the title bars. Just tap on it, and you'll see the contact number.
