Insert a section break between pages On the page sorter, right-click the page number where you want to begin a new section, and then click Insert Section on the shortcut menu. Note: The Insert Section command is not available if you are working on a Web publication.
Step 1: Open your document in Publisher 2013. Step 2: Select the Insert tab at the top of the window. Step 3: Click the Page Number button in the Header & Footer section of the ribbon, then choose the desired location for the page numbers.
Select the Insert tab on the Ribbon. Select the Page Number tool. Select the page number option you want to use.
Assuming you are using Publisher 2007 go to View > Master Page and click in the header or footer where you inserted the page number and select and delete the # symbol.
To insert a manual page break, click into the document at the place you want the page break to occur, before an automatic break. Press the Ctrl + Enter keys on your keyboard. Alternatively, click the Layout tab in the Ribbon and click the Breaks drop-down button.
A Page Break or hard page break is a code inserted by a software program such as word processor that tells the printing device where to end the current page and begin the next.
Go Home and select Show/Hide. These displays page breaks while you're working on your document. Double-click the page break to select it and then press Delete.
