Blown away. EZ to use once figured out, and quite intuitive. Only a couple surprises where the DOS commands didn't always work e.g. cut and paste. The shift/delete cut worked, but the shift/insert paste didn't. Just need a little time to find my groove. All I can say right now is: Bye, Bye handwritten forms. dc macdonald

Need to make this able to handle more than 150 pages, or at least have the document splitter handle up to 500 pages. I manage PDF files which average 300 pages....

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Getting Paid. KDP pays royalties every month, approximately 60 days after the end of the month in which they were earned. You'll receive separate royalty payments for each Amazon Marketplace in which you have chosen to distribute your title.
Amazon pays royalties only one Books, print books, and audiobooks that are sold and NOT refunded by customers. For e-book royalties, Amazon pays the author or publisher 60 days after the end of each month's sales. So you would receive royalty payments for your January e-book sales on April 1.
Amazon royalties for books not published through Amazon For print books, Author House gives authors a royalty rate of 10% through distribution channels, including Amazon. You earn 25% of retail price when your book is sold through Author House's bookstore.
For e-book royalties, Amazon pays the author or publisher 60 days after the end of each month's sales. For example, if you earn $1,000 in royalties from book sales in January, Amazon will send your royalty payments 60 days after the end of that month's sales.
When a book publisher contracts with an author to publish a book, in essence, the author (who is the copyright holder) grants the publisher the right to publish the work for an agreed-upon amount of money. This money is called a royalty and is expressed as a percentage of sales.
Royalty: You're paid for the number of pages the customer reads in your book for the first time (if a customer reads your book again, you're not paid again). You receive a combined royalty payment for both KU and KILL according to your Kindle Direct Publishing schedule.
Of course, you can't sell your paperback for less than it costs to print it, so Amazon calculates that number for you. The formula for this is: Printing cost / 60% (royalty rate) = minimum list price.
Amazon charges self-publishers using the 70% royalty option a 15 cent per megabyte download fee when readers buy your book. For example, if your book is 2 MB, and is priced at $2.99 with the 70% royalty option, your royalty is $1.79.
