How do I publish my CAC certificates?
In Outlook, select 'File' and then 'Options' Select 'Trust Center' then 'Trust Center Settings' Select 'E-mail Security' and then 'Settings' Under Certificates and Algorithms, Select 'Choose.' Select your DOD CA-## certificate and press OK. Select 'Choose' Select your DOD EMAIL CA-## Certificate and press OK.
How do I publish my CAC certificates to gal?
Underneath the Digital IDs (Certificates) setting, click on “Publish to GAL”. A new window will appear and prompt you, “Microsoft Office Outlook is about to publish your default security certificates to the Global Address List.” Click OK. Your certificates should have published to GAL successfully.
How do I import my CAC certificates into Outlook?
From the Outlook menu bar select the Tools > Options > Security > Import/Export. Select Import existing Digital ID from a file. Click Browse. Navigate to the exported certificate, select the certificate and click Open.
How do I load my CAC certificates to Internet Explorer?
Open the Content tab and click Certificates. Click Import. The Certificate Import Wizard starts.
How do I clear my CAC card certificate?
To remove the certs, open Tools > Internet Options > Content tab, then click the Certificate button. You will need to click on each of the certs labelled with DOD EMAIL CA-XX, and DOD CA-XX, and then click the Remove button.
