pdfFiller for Easy Fillable PDF Files
I am a 78-year-old with a partially paralized right hand. I started using this product to make fillable PDF files for English as a Second Language students I volunteer to teach online. With the instructions found on the site I was able to upload a five-page document and then add text boxes to the pages. I opted for the automatic text box creation, an extremely quick process, and only had to do some minor clean-up of extra text boxes. Overall, love the program.

I loved this software and features. However it's just out of my budget right now. It would be helpful if there was a monthly subscription or payment plan. Instead of $96 all at once there should be an option to pay a monthly fee of $8.

Does Mac have a built in OCR?
While the Preview app on macOS can handle basic editing of PDFs and other documents, it doesn't have OCR software built-in. Let's take a look at two trusted software options below.
Why does my PDF not recognize text?
Solution 1: Obtain a version of the document that does not contain renderable (editable) text. This message appears if the PDF document already contains the editable text. Obtain a copy of the document that does not contain editable text. Solution 2: Convert the PDF to TIFF and back, and then rerun OCR.
How do I enable OCR on Mac?
Download and install LEADTOOLS OCR Application on your Mac. Click Open Document to upload PDF file, choose page range. Click Recognize to OCR PDF on Mac for Free. Click Save button and choose output format to save the PDF OCR result.
