I appreciate the ease of downloading a PDF and being able to fill it in. For me, it is worth the money, even if I don't use it very often, simply because I now have the completed form saved, and easy to edit, as needed.

Was a little cumbersome at first, but was able to figure out on own which says a lot about a computer program minus an instruction booklet. Yeah, I'm a little on the geek side.

Great Product And Support

VA Documentation and Form filling.
I had some VA documents and forms i needed to type out and no way to fill them in online. pdfFiller to the rescue! I was able to easily fill out the required information and to have them submitted. I may be helping as a Veteran Services Officer here in Panama, and this will come in handy as I help veterans get their submissions in that is readable and neat. Highly recommend! This is an awesome site/resource for pros and newbies alike! Being new to all things graphic design related, I have utilized PDF filler several times to help with my projects *at no charge! Unfortunately, I lost my “real job” due to CoVid, so, at this time, I’m not in a position to pay the (very reasonable) annual fee to utilize all of the amazing benefits/features. BUT - as soon as I am able, I will happily do so. I was also really impressed with the Customer Service team. They are extremely professional, helpful and respond quickly. *side note: I almost never post recommendations (good or bad) but in this case, I felt the exception was well deserved.

What information should be redacted?
Sensitive information that could be used to commit fraud or expose private information should be redacted. The following list is a general guide: Social security numbers. Driver's license or professional license numbers.
What personal information should be redacted?
Legal Requirements Rule 5.2(a), titled Redacted Filings, provides that filings can only include the last four digits of a Social Security or tax ID number, the year of an individual's birth, a minor's initials or the last four digits of a financial account number.
What information can be redacted?
What Is Document Redaction? Otherwise, known as document sanitizing, redaction is the process of blacking out or removing any sensitive information from a document, so it can be used and distributed, but still protect confidential information too.
What information must be redacted in federal court?
See the Court's Transcript Redaction Policy. All filers must redact: Social Security or taxpayer-identification numbers. Dates of birth. Names of minor children. Financial account numbers. And, in criminal cases, home addresses, in compliance with Fed. R. CIV.
Why are documents redacted?
Redaction, sometimes called sanitization or data anonymization, is the process of removing confidential or sensitive information from a document to protect that information. When documents are redacted, they can be used or published by a wider audience than originally intended without compromising confidentiality.
What does name redacted mean?
2 : to select or adapt (as by obscuring or removing sensitive information) for publication or release broadly : edit. 3 : to obscure or remove (text) from a document prior to publication or release.
What is redaction process?
Redaction Defined Redaction is the task of rendering passages in a document illegible because those passages are confidential or otherwise exempt from disclosure. The process to redact passages from a printed document is to obscure the text or images with a dark permanent marker.
How do you redact a document?
Use the paper document method to redact a scanned file. Print out the paper document. Cut out the text that needs to be redacted. Use opaque tape or paper to cover the redacted sections. Scan the document and save it as a PDF.
