Good so far; expensive, however, AND when I agreed to your discounted one year offer when I intended to cancel after one month, I didn't realize the sum offered was in addition to the $20 one month fee, so it didn't turn out to be such a great deal after all. I was canceling, because I honestly don't see myself using this much more if even ever again. However, for the discounted rate (WITHOUT the $20 added in), I thought 'why not?' I am going to evaluate over the next couple weeks to see if I really DO want to continue a subscription, discount or otherwise.

Conditional Non-Renewal: Offensive Defense. In a move designed to improve underwriting results, carriers are issuing conditional non-renewal notices. This is attributable to a recent spate of CAT losses, tough reinsurance renewals and a shrinking marketplace.
This is known in insurance circles as the conditional renewal notification requirements. ... When such changes occur, the intent of the statutes is to give the insured enough warning to take some action; either find other coverage, apply other risk management options, or garner the additional premium required.
Modifies an insurance policy to provide notice of cancellation beyond that stipulated in the policy. The endorsement typically stipulates an additional number of days' notice the insurer must provide of its intent to cancel the policy, additional parties that are to receive notice of cancellation, or both.
State Endorsements Supersede Generic Provisions However, your state's law (and the state endorsement attached to your policy) requires the insurer to give you 45 days' notice if it refuses to renew your policy.
Except for nonpayment of premium, the insurer shall give either a written notice of nonrenewal or an offer of renewal at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the policy's existing term.
A non-renewal on your car insurance means your current insurance company no longer accepts you or another driver on your policy as a driver risk. You will have to find coverage with another carrier by the time your policy renews.
Nonrenewal is a different matter. Either you or your insurance company can decide not to renew the policy when it expires. Depending on the state you live in, your insurance company must give you a certain number of days' notice and explain the reason for not renewing before it drops your policy.
In the insurance industry, there is a major difference between a cancellation notice and a non-renewal notice. A cancellation notice occurs when your insurance company is canceling your policy immediately. On the other hand, a non-renewal notice indicates that the policy will not be renewed once the policy term ends.
They can cancel your policy, or they can refuse to renew it. If your car insurance company doesn't want to insure you any longer, there are two ways they can stop covering you. They can cancel your policy and drop you, or they can refuse to renew it. ... Car insurance cancellation vs. non-renewal.
A Notice of Loss is typically a document (it might also be a letter you send to your insurance company) detailing the losses and the circumstances of how they occurred. It is particularly important in accident cases, because if you were at fault in any way, your insurer may need to defend you.
