Anyone in Australia who is registered with Medicare or an individual healthcare identifier (IHI) can use My Health Record. You need a myGov account to access your record. Your My Health Record is private — it can only be seen by you, your healthcare providers and anyone else you choose to share it with.
Patient or Clinicians may submit an Opt-out request The HIM Department works with the patient or clinicians to process all “opt out” requests.
You can choose to cancel your My Health Record at any time You can cancel your record by logging into your My Health Record via your MyGov account or in writing by completing a cancellation form. Further information about how to cancel your record is available on the My Health Record website.
