How frequently do you need to submit a Toxics Release Inventory TRI reports for your facility?
Reporting Help Each year, certain industrial facilities submit Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) data to EPA. The data are due by July 1 and cover waste management activities that occurred during the previous calendar year.

Why was the TRI Program created? The TRI Program was created as part of a response to several events that raised public concern about local preparedness for chemical emergencies and the availability of information on hazardous substances. Section 313 of EPCA established the Toxics Release Inventory.
Who enforces EPCA?
EPA Enforcement Federal facilities are required to comply with all provisions of EPCA. While Section 325 of EPCA authorizes EPA to assess civil and administrative penalties and bring judicial criminal actions against violators, federal agencies are not subject to these enforcement and penalty provisions.
