Notifications appear as icons at the top left of the Home screen of your Android phone. To review them, pull down the notifications' drawer by dragging your finger from the top of the screen downward. Two variations on the notifications' drawer presentation are illustrated below. Switch to the Widgets tab, tap and hold the 1×1 Settings Shortcut and place it on your home screen. Now select Notifications from the available choices. Tap the settings icon that you have placed on the home screen, and it will display the notification history in reverse chronological order.
To see notification history on android, hold your finger on the desktop and go to the Widgets menu. In the list of available widgets, hold down the Settings Shortcut and drag it to the desktop. The menu that appears, select Notification Log. Open the notification log using the desktop icon of the same name.
Pick up your iPhone to wake it up, or tap the screen (or press home screen button on the bottom for Persephone X models). From the lock screen, swipe up from the middle to see your notifications. Next to the words Notification Center is an X in a gray circle. “Clear All Notifications” will appear.

It's simple: just swipe up on either the lock screen or the Notification Center. Then you'll see your past notifications, up to notifications from the past week.
Scroll down and long-press the Settings widget, then place it on your home screen. You'll get a list of features that the Settings shortcut can access. Tap Notification Log. Tap the widget and scroll through your past notifications.
