This is a great online resource for signing, stamping and editing PDF documents without needing to purchase a PDF editor.

How are image files stored?
The digital image contains a fixed number of rows and columns of pixels. Typically, the pixels are stored in computer memory as a raster image or raster map, a two-dimensional array of small integers. These values are often transmitted or stored in a compressed form.
How are image files stored on a computer?
Introduction: Data in computers is stored and transmitted as a series of ones and zeros (also known as Binary). To store an image on a computer, the image is broken down into tiny elements called pixels. A pixel (short for picture element) represents one color.
Is it better to save an image as a JPEG or PNG?
The biggest advantage of PNG over JPEG is that the compression is lossless, meaning there is no loss in quality each time it is opened and saved again. PNG also handles detailed, high-contrast images well.
Is PNG better than JPEG?
PNG is better quality than JPEG because JPEGs use lossy compression, whereas PNG uses a type of lossless compression. The problem is that large PNG images (such as photographs) have a large file size, whereas a similar sized JPEG can have a much smaller file size.
What is the difference between a PNG image file and a JPG image file?
PNG stands for Portable Network Graphics (or, depending on whom you ask, the recursive PNG-Not-GIF). PNG supports 8-bit color like GIF, but also supports 24-bit color RGB, like JPG does. They are also non-lossy files, compressing photographic images without degrading image quality.
Where are JPEG files stored?
Go to “Start menu > all programs > accessories > paint.” Click “file” on the top of the toolbar and highlight “open.” Change the selection from “all files” to “JPEG.” This will now show all JPEG files located in each folder that you click on.
Where are the JPG files in photo?
Photos are stored within the Photos Library file located in your Pictures folder (default location), unless you are using a Referenced library where photos are stored outside the library. If you want to view the contents of the Photos' library file, right-click on the file and choose Show Package Contents.
