New Soldiers reporting to their first installation will have to sign in to perms to view their own record before they will be able to participate in a Soldier Present Record Review. The Soldier will have to select “Soldier (View your own record) and successfully complete the login in order to sign in to a Record Review.
Conducting a Personnel Record Review The purpose of conducting the Personnel Record Review is to ensure data on the Record Brief is correct and all source documents required for filing in the Army Military Human Resource Record (AMH RR) are in perms.
PRR stands for Personnel Readiness Review (US Army)
Go to Army AKO at www.us.army.mil. Select ORB: Officer Record Brief/ ERA: Enlisted Record Brief link under Army Links column on right side of the screen. Once forwarded to the ORB/ERA page, select the view/print button. Save as a PDF to your desktop, where they can be easily retrieved.
Once you log in to AKO, you will see Army Links on the right side of the page. Click on Assignment Satisfaction Key, then On Orders. Your assignment location can be seen there. You must remember though that nothing is official until your orders are published.
You must log into perms at https://iperms.hrc.army.mil/rms at least once every 90 days to keep your access current. If you have lost perms access for any of the reasons below, you will need to resubmit a DD Form 2875 to regain access.
Under Soldier Services click the “My Records” button. Enter your AKO Login and password, your DS Logon or use your CAC. See the HRC Portal Login Guide or the DS Logon Help Center for more information on DS Logon information. After you have logged in, click on the appropriate component icon.
All active duty and reserve personnel having a BOX account, a Common Access Card (CAC) and a CAC-enabled computer can now view their OMP record online by selecting the “OMP — My Record” link under the BOX Application Menu. See ALADDIN 011/09 for details.
