How to Revise a PDF?

pdfFiller makes it easy to revise any document online. You can type anywhere, highlight, redact or erase words and phrases, add signatures, images, sticky notes or customized watermarks without any coding.

To get started, go to MY DOCS and select a document to be opened in the pdfFiller editor.

Across the top you’ll see a PDF toolbar. Click on a tool icon to select it, then mouse over the area on your file where you want to place it and click again. Click on the Text button to start typing or insert your sentences by dragging the text box. You can change the font type, text size or color by clicking the corresponding icons in the toolbar. Make your words bold, italic or underline it using the B, I and U icons respectively.

pdfFiller’s online PDF editor allows you to quickly sign your form. Press the Sign button and choose how you’d like to add your signature. You can draw it with your finger or mouse, upload it from your computer or capture it with a smartphone or webcam.

Select the corresponding option on the Edit tab to highlight or erase phrases. To obscure the paragraph choose the blackout tool.

Use the tab on the right to number pages, add a watermark or view the revision history by clicking the VERSIONS tab.

When you’ve finished editing your file, click DONE. Now you can email, print or save your file.

How to Revise PDF Text Online?

To change a PDF online, upload a PDF document to your account or choose an existing form.

Choose the 'Text' button in the 'Edit' tab and start typing. Place text by clicking and dragging the box.

Click the 'Signature' or 'Picture' button to sign your document or insert an image. You can also add sticky notes, comments or text boxes to any file.

To edit a PDF, click the corresponding icon on the toolbar to highlight, redact or erase any content or image.

To revise your PDF further, click the 'ADD WATERMARK' and the 'VERSIONS' tabs on the right or the 'PAGES' tab on the left.

When you're done revising, click 'DONE' and email, share, print or save your form.

PDFfiller is a GREAT program with INCREDIBLE customer service! PDFfiller is a GREAT program! It is very easy to use. It helped me tremendously when I had a project and needed to fill out literally hundreds of documents online. The program worked very well, was incredibly responsive, & even kept all of my documents for easy access as well. Most importantly, however, is that they have absolutely INCREDIBLE customer service! I used the chat feature and it was totally painless and even enjoyable. I was treated very well by the chat rep (Paul)! I am a single mother who is trying to start a small business with VERY limited funds. I meant to cancel my plan before my 30-day trial was over. Like so many other times in my hectic life, I guess I forgot! I was quite anxious about it as many companies charge high cancelation fees if you fail to cancel during the trial. There was no need to worry though. I simply logged into my account and then I saw the chat feature. I chose to use it even though I was hesitant to do so (many companies do not provide very good customer service through chat). The response time was extremely fast. I asked to cancel my membership and he replied right away that he would do that for me. Here is the best part, he then proceeded to ASK me if I would like a refund as well!! Now that is WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thanks so much, PDFfiller & Paul! I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to my family and friends. You just do not see that level of customer care combined with great products anymore. I was quite impressed!

1 Answer. If the signature in the form is yours, you can open the Signature pane on the left side, right-click on the signature and choose “Clear Signature”. This way the form will be unlocked. This is only possible if the person who tries to clear the signature has signed and locked the document.
To do so, open your PDF file in Adobe Acrobat, then click on the Edit PDF tool in the toolbar on the right. When you're in form editing mode, you can make several types of changes to the PDF file. You can edit text, alter a field name, or add new text and fillable fields.
Open a file in Acrobat. Click on the “Edit PDF” tool in the right pane. Use Acrobat editing tools: Add new text, edit text, or update fonts using selections from the Format list.
Edit a PDF Choose a PDF to edit by clicking the Select a file button above, or drag and drop a file into the drop zone. Once Acrobat uploads the file, sign in to add your comments. Use the toolbar to add text, sticky notes, highlights, drawings, and more. Download your annotated file or get a link to share it.
Adobe Acrobat Open your PDF file using Adobe Acrobat. Click “Tools,” select “Content” and choose “Edit Document Text.” Drag the mouse across and select the text you want to replace. Type the replacement text. Your new text displays in the place of the selected text.
How to edit PDF files: Open a file in Acrobat. Click the “Edit PDF” tool in the right pane. Use Acrobat editing tools: Add new text, edit text or update fonts using selections from the Format list. Save your edited PDF: Name your file and click the “Save” button. That's it.
Open a PDF file in Acrobat. Click on the “Export PDF” tool in the right pane. Choose Microsoft Word as your export format, and then choose “Word Document.” Click “Export.” If your PDF contains scanned text, the Acrobat Word converter will run text recognition automatically.
To resolve this, follow these steps: Step 1: Open the PDF Document. Step 2: Access the "Prepare Form" Tool. Step 3: Select Form Fields for Editing. Step 4: Open Form Field Properties. Step 5: Unlock the Form Fields. Step 6: Finalize Changes. Step 7: Preview and Save. Step 8: Save and Close the Document.
