I'M disabled, and confined to a wheelchair. I'm not able to get out, and look for a place that will agree to fax things. Revised Invoice It is sent when a buyer returns goods to the seller. It is given when a supplier receives returned goods from the buyer. It is issued when there is a discrepancy in the issued invoice.
It's not illegal, per se, to amend an invoice that you've raised, but it is covering your back as it could invite litigation if you amend your own version of it without cancelling the original version — in particular if the customer has actually paid against the original.
If an incorrect invoice has been sent, the business must issue a cancellation invoice with its own, new invoice number.
