Depending on your industry, you might want to add more relevant sections, like quantity, tax, hours, or shipping. Add your branding for a polished, signature touch.
Here's what to include on an invoice: Your customer's company name and address. The date the goods or services were provided. The date of the invoice. A breakdown of costs that show prices, hours, or quantities of the goods and services delivered.

Basic invoice format – what goes where Your details. Your name and contact details are required. Their details. Identify the person or organization that you're billing, and include their physical or email address. Invoice number and date. Description of goods or services. What the customer owes. What should an invoice include? Invoice reference number. Every invoice should include a unique invoice reference number. Your company name and address. The customer's name and address. Changing invoices that have already been issued If you would like to change the original amount issued on the invoice, you'll need to issue a credit note. This occurs in cases where you forgot to include a discount, or you need to issue a refund to someone for damaged goods.
